THIS IS US
More Than Events. Real Impact.
At Beautiful Faces Foundation, we believe support should be visible.
From preventive health outreach and wellness education to survivorship support and community resource connections, our mission is rooted in helping individuals and families feel informed, empowered, supported, and seen.
These are some of the moments, outreach efforts, partnerships, and initiatives that continue helping us bring care, compassion, and support directly into the communities we serve.
Meeting People Where They Are
Chester, PA — thank you for welcoming us into your community.
Our recent Community Wellness Initiative featured the Mobile Mammography Unit, courtesy of Penn Medicine, helping bring preventive breast health screenings directly into the community alongside wellness education and supportive resources.
With many residents continuing to navigate changes in local healthcare accessibility following the closure of Crozer-Chester Medical Center, the day focused on making preventive care feel more accessible, approachable, and closer to home. In collaboration with Main Line Health, attendees also had access to general health screenings and referral resources, along with supportive wellness discussions and community connections provided by organizations including Women’s Solo Project, an insurance concierge, and Black Lotus offering sound therapy and wellness support.
For many individuals and families, preventive screenings are often delayed due to barriers such as cost, transportation, insurance limitations, or lack of nearby healthcare resources. Initiatives like this help create opportunities to prioritize health through education, awareness, and early detection encouraging individuals and families to prioritize preventive health and wellness.
We are grateful to every attendee, volunteer, healthcare professional, and community partner who helped make the day a success.
The Work Behind The Mission
During our Chester Community Wellness Day, 24 individuals received preventive breast and other health screenings.
With the average cost of a 3D mammogram often reaching several hundred dollars in Pennsylvania depending on insurance coverage and provider rates, the event represented meaningful access to preventive healthcare services brought directly into the community including being able to service those without insurance.
